Gig Information

A night of original music and lyrical storytelling…

3 unique musical offerings, including the Floral Clocks and Richard von Sturmer - at Ponsonby’s Unitarian Hall.

For this show on Saturday 30 August - the Floral Clocks are thrilled to share the stage with:

c. Zukey - Canadian-born but Kiwi grounded singer-songwriter. His debut album 'Stone Fruut' was described as a spacious dream-pop exploration of love, grief, and nostalgia. Who better to bring us all together on the eve of a bright new springtime - we can’t think of a more fitting musical partner to celebrate this night with.

Eve de Castro-Robinson - one of New Zealand’s most acclaimed composers will present a selection of work, utilising the exceptional musicianship of - Peter Scholes (clarinet), Claire Scholes (voice), Eric Scholes (bass), and the Floral Clocks' own percussionist James McCarthy. -

Three members of the acclaimed Scholes family, performing together - a rare treat for contemporary music lovers, exponents and advocates of all genres.

Our Floral Clocks set will be a little different too, perhaps a lighter palette to match the season, and made up of songs we are hard at work refining ahead of our recording sessions in October. We’re thrilled to welcome Richard von Sturmer our lyricist back into the performance mix and we’ll have a few other surprises up our sleeve too!

It is our pleasure to be able to share all these artists with you on Saturday 30 August.

- The Floral Clocks.

With a total venue capacity of just 100 tickets, these performances are in demand, and booking early is advised --- Pre-book tickets online at $35 +bf each or doorsales will be $45 unless sold out.
