This August, Karangahape Road transforms into a living cinema for FAM: Film Festival Edition — a day of screenings, performances, music and surprises, celebrating the magic of film in all its forms.
Inspired by the New Zealand International Film Festival, this FAM event invites everyone to step into the spotlight, explore the unexpected, and enjoy the cultural heartbeat of the street.

Cult classics at East Street Cinema: Bring your furry friend to watch Homeward Bound and get involved in an interactive screening of the 1939 The Wizard of Oz hosted by Caluzzi Queen Kita Mean.
Top of the Pitts stage hosts locally made short films and music videos and LIVE music from Bub, Goodspace and dān dān
Kiri & Lou Clubhouse with SMALL RAVE, ft. claymation, crafts and screenings of the BAFTA Award winning kid's show.
Soundtracks & Showtunes around the pink community piano, bringing a touch of classic cinema nostalgia. BYO sheet music or choose from the songbooks provided and have a play!
