Parked Up is an Auckland based band, assimilating the minds of Will Ralph on tenor saxophone, Jenna Aspeling on alto saxophone, Ryan Tomov on piano, Alex Keatley on double bass, and Jeffrey Garus on drums.
Will Ralph brings a dynamic flair to the band, offering an interactive and attentive approach with a powerful sound through means of the tenor saxophone.
Alto saxophonist, Jenna Aspeling, contributes a thoughtful sound and expressive nature, listening and reacting in musical conversation.
Pianist, Ryan Tomov, provides an artful and free approach, unconfined and unbounded by structure and form.
Alex Keatley diversifies the band through his knowledge of South African jazz, offering rhythmic and harmonic variety in both comping and improvisation.
