Swing clarinetist Oscar Lavën, guitarist Adrian Jensen, and double-bass raconteur Robert Henderson are Les Tripes (french for The Guts) ; a hard-working interpretation of the irresistibly heart-pumping film-noir sound of Django Reinhardt's Quintette du Hot Club de France. Lavën, Jensen and Henderson are professional musicians based in Wellington, and have honed their project through years of performance in venues large and small.
Les Tripes will have you tapping your feet and swinging along as they infuse each performance with passion, precision, and a touch of French flair.
