VillageMusic is very pleased to host Greg Johnson and Ted Brown, for a special Small Hall Session.
This will be a 'not to be missed' evening for sure and with a limited audience of 100, is bound to see a full house. The old hall is the perfect venue for a session of this nature.
More than 30 years since Greg Johnson first made his mark on the New Zealand music scene with his breakthrough single Isabelle, his melodic, story-telling songs have continued to hit the radios, charts and hearts of listeners nationwide.
On Friday 3 October, Village Music regulars can look forward to seeing Greg up close in the intimate Mt Eden Village Hall setting, performing his iconic songs like Don’t Wait Another Day, Liberty, Save Yourself, It's Been So Long, Now The Sun is Out, Looking Out On Monday, I Got Opinions and many more.
In fact, too many to chose from, which is why Greg is also partial to audience requests. Greg’s enviable songbook has seen him recognised with two Tui NZ Music Awards, 10 top 20 albums, and a very loyal fanbase.
And then there's Ted.
Best known as long time guitarist, vocalist and collaborator in the Greg Johnson Band, Ted released his third album Solstice Canyon Loop. Tracked at Plyrz Studio in Santa Clarita CA June 27-28 2020, the songs tell stories of Teds journey from his hometown of Auckland NZ to his current home of Los Angeles CA where he’s lived since 2002.
Get in early for this gig.
And as always, bring friends, bring family bring your ears and BYO. See you at the door.
