Te Matau-a-Māui atmospheric doomgaze duo Dos-Ovni are taking their evocative soundscapes on the road this October and November, hitting stages across Aotearoa to connect with audiences and share their haunting musical vision.
Formed in Ahuriri in 2019, Dos-Ovni has spent years honing their atmospheric approach, and with their debut album currently in the works, this tour offers a chance to experience their cinematic, immersive live performances before they unveil their most ambitious work yet.
With a sound reminiscent of artists like Chelsea Wolfe, Low, Darkher, and King Woman, Dos-Ovni's live performances promise to be an immersive experience, blending atmospheric passages with emotionally charged music. Expect shadowy textures, hypnotic rhythms, and an otherworldly presence that lingers long after the final note fades.
Dos-Ovni will be sharing the stage with friends High Altar and The Fairlight Choir:
High Altar is a two-piece instrumental outfit featuring Brendan Moran (Hasselhoff Expt, Subliminals) and Taipua Adams (Terror of the Deep, The Perms). Expect semi-improvised soundscapes built from drums, bass, and atmospheric electronics - shifting between heavy ambience and fast, punchy rhythms.
Manawatū's The Fairlight Choir, bringing their hard-hitting post-punk energy and fuzzy, catchy riffs that'll have you hooked from the first note.
Show starts at 7pm. Door Sales available ($20p/p).
