THE FREE FAMILY FUN DAY ‘MASH UP’ IS
BACK – Te Puna Creative Hub, Henderson (ex Whoa Studios)
You are invited to a free family fun day event to celebrate difference and diversity within family and community. This ‘Mash Up’ will be held at Te Puna Creative Hub (previously Whoa Studios) in Henderson and guarantees to be most spectacular!
Entertainment features Vaudeville musical comedy from Captain Festus McBoyle's Travellin' Variety Show, Punk Rock Family Band, Spellodies and a very special guest MC in the form of Sir Bob Harvey.
Please make sure to bring your canned/dry food donations as entry KOHA. These will be collected onsite by The Encounter Hope Foundation and later distributed to those in need within community.
There'll be face painting onsite at $5 a face and lots of yummy food and drink available thanks to The Grounds Cafe.
We'll also be giving away lots of free Lollipops thanks to Mayceys, one of NZ’s oldest sweet makers, established in 1928.
The Foyer will open at 10.15am for face painting and food donations, then you’ll be seated in the theatre just before 11am for the show..
There’ll be a 30 minute interval between the two acts to allow for more face painting and for the purchase of food and refreshments.
This will be a safe and fun-filled family event which fits well within every Family’s budget.
