Ch! Nonso returns to NiceGoblin Collective HQ in Mt Eden for an intimate, acoustic evening of music and reflection — a night to celebrate and share what he’s been working on over the past year.
The show coincides with the release of his new single “JJC”, out 14 November, marking the second introduction to his upcoming 2026 project. Following “My Own”, the first single and music video released in September, “JJC” continues to expand the sonic world of what’s to come, grounded in themes of identity, belonging, and cultural duality.
NiceGoblin HQ holds a special place in Nonso’s story. It’s where he hosted his debut EP release “Kola Nuts & Chardonnay”, and now he returns to the same creative tattoo space to reconnect with listeners in a stripped-back, personal setting.
Born in Enugu, Nigeria, and now based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Ch! Nonso is an AfroSoul artist whose sound blends traditional Igbo rhythms with Highlife, R&B, Afrobeat, Jazz, and Soul. His reflective lyricism, described by The 13th Floor as “rich and thought-provoking,” offers an honest and soulful look into the intersections of heritage and self-expression.
