RENÉE makes her Big Fan debut, headlining for the first time in her hometown. Originally from Auckland, RENÉE has been building a reputation for her distinctive blend of neo-soul, pop R&B, and afrobeat inspired sounds, paired with glossy vocals and groove-driven production. With a growing presence and a clear sonic identity, she's quickly becoming one to watch in the local scene. In her first year as a solo artist, RENÉE has shared the stage with acclaimed artists including Foley, Dani Josie, Imani-J, and Rita Mae, and she is set to perform at Matakanarama Festival this summer. Her Big Fan headline promises an energetic and rhythmic set, showcasing her rising presence in Aotearoa.
Joining RENÉE on the night is Flynn Adamson. Born and raised in Lyttelton and now based in Auckland, Flynn is a singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with vibrant, guitar-driven production. He’s shared stages with NZ icons including Will Swinton, The Butlers, PRINS, Foley, and Vince Harder, earning a reputation for warm, captivating performances. His latest single, Honey (released 12 September), captures the thrill of young love, drawing on influences from Harry Styles, Tame Impala, and his small-town roots.
Opening the night is Lily Stiven, an indie-pop/R&B artist from New Zealand known for heartfelt songs that fuse raw emotion with catchy acoustic melodies. In 2023, she received the NZ Music On Air Artist Development Fund and began work on her debut EP. With three singles released through Play It Strange and influences from Olivia Dean, Kings of Leon, and Lorde, Lily is an artist to watch as she continues to evolve in 2025.
Experience the next wave of Aotearoa pop and R&B at Big Fan on November 27th — a night of rising talent you won’t want to miss.
