A 7 piece original ska band with a 3-piece horn section, BSG draw influences from Jamaican Ska, 2-Tone ska and UK punk, and meld these sounds with a unique Aotearoa take on the genre. Known for tackling \issues\ in their songs, BSG use the upbeat energy of ska music as a trojan horse to discuss environmental concerns, politics, metal health and smashing capitalism, while keeping the party going and putting a smile on everyones face!
Ska Pai are a funky ska-punk explosion, who take the ska aesthetic to new heights. Tight punky guitars, harmonised vocals, frenetic energy and blazing trumpet, Ska Pai always come dressed to kill, and everybody loves a bit of murder on the dance floor....
