Welcome home Theo Thompson, back from the jazz clubs of Europe with us! After an acclaimed Jazz festival performance with his troupe minus one, Miro returns with an all original concept to the Undercurrent... Plus one!
This group have been playing together, in one form or another, for seven years- burgeoning out of the wallow and lulls of Wellington, the highs too- having shaped an entirely unique sound. Changing the rhythms and rhyme of the swing to whatever tendency is inherently antipodean.
Miro has written a new suite of music designed to amplify each of his friend's unique timbre, and make clear the joy of their collective sound. Be there!
