DADS return to The Undercurrent!
The Dancing & Drinking Society (or DADS for short), is New Zealand’s premier exponent of authentic 1920s dance Jazz with Rags, Rambles, Shuffles, Drags and Blues from the juke joints, speakeasies, woolsheds and Memorial Halls of 1920s New Zealand.
DADS have been bringing their swing blues sounds to dance floors and craft beer bars across the capital since late 1913. When they take to the stage, guitar, horns, vocals, and kick drum blend as The Society present their favourite old rarities with exactly the sort of vigour you want for some stress relieving dance times. They’ve cultivated a decent reputation for generous and open-hearted live performance.
If you feel like a decent drink and a leg shake or two, this would make for a pretty good option.
With Adrian Jensen, Daniel Yeabsley, Blair Latham, and now Michael Costello!
