Jed Parsons has carved out a unique space in New Zealand’s indie scene, with two critically acclaimed albums, millions of streams, and a string of high-profile tours under his belt. His latest release, Brunch, earned praise from Rolling Stone and RNZ, which said, “nobody is writing catchier choruses in NZ right now.” Since then, Parsons has collaborated and played sold-out shows with icons such as Troy Kingi, performed at the 2024 Silver Scrolls, toured arenas as drummer for Mel Parsons (supporting Crowded House), and headlined a 20-date tour across Australia.
