Video: U.S. Girls - Navy And Cream
An eerie new video has been unveiled by U.S. Girls (aka Meg remy) for her track 'Navy And Cream', lifted from the critically-acclaimed album Half Free. Directed by artist and animator Emily Pelstring, the video pairs hand-drawn animations alongside footage of Remy, which has then been fed through a myriad of equipment including VJ software, a video projector, an antique video camera and an analog color-corrector - before being mixed with a feedback loop on one channel and the original source material on the other. The resulting clip is a ghostly montage of images befitting the song's raw echoing sonics. Check it out below...
U.S. Girls is performing on Monday 7th March at Auckland venue Whammy Bar, head over here for more information and to buy tickets.
