Listen: Race Banyon - What Are We Doing (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign)

Wellington production wunderkind Eddie Johnston aka Race Banyon (aka Lontalius) recently took part in Red Bull Sound Select sessions and had the special honour of working with American hip hop artists Ty Dolla $ign and DJ Daji - to the point of cooking up a track together.

Johnston says of the experience: "It was inspiring and amazing to see [Ty Dolla $ign] working in the studio and to see his work ethic," adding, "He had everything perfectly setup and ready to go, and I thought it was really incredible. There I was, just a dorky kid from New Zealand, and here’s Ty Dolla $ign. And he’s Ty Dolla $ign, so everything he does is automatically great.”
