Avoid!Avoid celebrated the recent release of their debut album Particle And Wave with an evening of krauty psychedelic motorik rock accompanied by live video projections from Andrew Denton. The Auckland trio were joined by wondrous sisters Purple Pilgrims as well as very special guest Gary Way all the way from Boston. Photographer Dave Simpson went along to shoot the show, and made the decision to photograph Avoid!Avoid "how they sounded rather than how they looked", with some awesome results.
