Video: Eagulls - Velvet

Last month Leeds outfit Eagulls unveiled their excellent second album Ullages and now they've come forth with a video for lead single 'Velvet'. Directed by John Minton, who has notched up videos for Savages, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Portishead, the moody clip explores themes of heartbreak as Eagulls' frontman George Mitchell explained to FADER: "We both share interests in old cinema and we saw Saul Bass and Fernand Leger as inspirations on the visual elements and John was able to adapt these inspirations into a modern take with a theme of love loss running throughout."
