UTR Preview: Stream Joe Blossom's New Album 'All Of The Above'
UnderTheRadar is delighted to present an exclusive preview stream of the sophomore album from Wellington-based artist Joe Blossom aka Sean O'Brien. Titled All Of The Above, the record sees O'Brien joined by long time collaborators Chris Fawdray, Holly Beals (Encouragement / Family Cactus) and Phill Jones (Urbantramper) to conjure up a collection of nine tracks that are a significant departure from his 2011 debut offering Nocturnes. In an email to us O'Brien explains the core themes of the record...
"I named this album 'All Of The Above' for two reasons. On one level it felt like so much had occurred since we released the previous album 'Nocturnes'. International tours, living in different countries, new professional careers for all of the core collaborators, loves lost, loves gained, fatherhood... and so forth. And then on another level, as the record came together I noticed that every lyric was littered with question marks. This raised in my mind the thought "what are the answers?"
