Caught Live: The Coathangers - Squeeki Tiki
Atlanta punk trio The Coathangers will be here for two shows at the end of the month and the supports have just been revealed for both dates. Joining them in Auckland will be Emily Edrosa (of Street Chant) and riot grrrl Skux, and the Christchurch show will be supported by Astro Children along with Brian Tamaki and The Kool Aid Kids.
In anticipation of the shows we've been checking out some live footage and this performance of 'Squeeki Tiki' is a must-see, as the folk at the BTR studio point out it's got some of the best punk instrumentation we've seen in awhile, drums, bass and a dog toy.
