PRESS RELEASE:
Bivouac are excited to announce that Hexis (DK) will be bringing their brand of primitive, primordial black metal and post-hardcore to New Zealand in October.
Based in Copenhagen, Hexis formed in 2010 and quickly released a range of genre-bending records that draw on black metal, d-beat, sludge, and post-hardcore in a swarm of abstract and apocalyptic noise. Live, the band is a force of nature and has crafted themselves as an enigma to behold with a provocative, belligerent and abrasive live set. Playing in darkness to begin, venues are subsequently burnt by a stream of strobe lights that make the discordance and violence even harder to comprehend.
Hexis have toured through Europe multiple times, however this is their first trip to New Zealand and the Southern Hemisphere. They will be playing in Dunedin and Christchurch before they are joined by death metal titans Setentia for Wellington, Hamilton, and Auckland shows.
