Manchester alt-rock outfit James played their first ever New Zealand show last night at The Powerstation in Auckland, before heading to Wellington to play at The Opera House tonight. The band, which formed in 1982 amid the infamous Factory Records scene, are visiting these shores off-the-back of releasing their 14th studio album this year. Supported by London four-piece rock outfit Melic, James let loose for the evening, with frontman Tim Booth jumping into the crowd to be face-to-face with his adoring fans.
