Video: The Courtneys - Silver Velvet

As announced last month, Canadian slacker-pop group The Courtneys have signed to Flying Nun to release The Courtneys II early next year, and in the lead-up the trio are letting loose a video for first single 'Silver Velvet'. The clip pays homage to their labelmates, Bailter Space and their 1995 video for 'Splat', as the explained by the band who wrote: “At the time we made the video, we didn’t even know we’d be working with Flying Nun!
