Nihilistic Napier sludge crew Over-Population have dropped their sophomore effort which is loaded with seven tracks of downer vibes and world weariness. Coldly named after Sigmond Freud’s seminal book Civilization and its Discontents, the album is both a cathartic therapy session and a swansong for the band, as it’s release show in Wellington is slated to be the group’s last.
