Minimalist ambient drone artist Fuckault has released an opus of unease-instilling compositions titled Sine Works Vol 1. :Organics. The six songs feature calming, pulsating sine wave tones contrasted against unsettling samples. Fuckault is the brainchild of Dunedin-based musician Karl Leisky, who you may recognise from their tenure as a vocalist from raucous Dunedin punk crew Yung Nat$. Take a listen, and read the accompanying press release below...

Summer can mean sun, beers, and chill times with bros. For Dunedin ambient artist Karl Leisky aka Fuckault, summer 2017 has meant writing a 40000 word masters thesis in 30 days, during grey and cold weather. Taking inspiration from the view from their writing desk, Sine Works vol.1 was made to synthesise the hope of a relaxing Summer and the stressful reality of January into something beautiful. From the gentle pulsing and deep drone of ‘Linsoil’ to the glacial piercing soundscape of ‘Peacemeal’, Sine Works vol.1: Organics is meant to relax & focus with out abandoning Karl’s noise roots.
