Caught Live: Father John Misty Unveils New Single On Saturday Night Live

Over the weekend satirical songsmith Father John Misty was the special musical guest on Saturday Night Live and took the opportunity to air brand new single 'Total Entertainment Forever'. The track is plucked from FJM's forthcoming album Pure Comedy, from which he has already shared the eponymous tune as well as another single titled 'Ballad Of The Dying Man'.

Speaking about the track (in particular the song's opening lines which reference Taylor Swift) with Exclaim the minstrel said: “Human civilizations have been entertaining themselves in disgusting ways all through human history ... We have to consider that maybe there are ways in which we entertain ourselves now that are equally as disturbing.” Watch the SNL performance below...
