Thee Oh Sees frontman John Dwyer has delivered yet another slice of strangely intriguing tunes in the form of Damaged Bug’s Bunker Funk. The side-project sees the unreality stepped up a notch with familiar falsetto vocals marrying all manner of percussion. ‘The Cryptologist’ features flute lines reminiscent of Jethro Tull while the synth-lines in ‘Slay The Priest’ oscillate from hypnotically repetitive to swirling and chaotic.
