Pharmakon Dispenses Slippery Video For 'Somatic' From New Album 'Contact'

New York noise peddler Pharmakon has unveiled a suitably nauseating visual counterpart for 'Somatic', a cut lifted off her fourth album Contact which comes out today via Sacred Bones. The tune is classic Pharmakon; feedback layers build a wall of harsh noise accompanied by heavily distorted percussion, while the visuals depict slimy, writhing, contextless human body parts sliding about each other while doused in some sticky substance.

“'Somatic' is our interpretation of the mind attempting to leave its vessel. An infusion of latex, viscous fluids and bodies shown in its raw and simple form”, said the video’s director, Latex Lucifer, of the inner motivations behind the optics. Check it out below...
