Melbourne DIY Pop Artist Jess Locke Unveils New Single 'Better/Bitter'
Melbourne-based artist Jess Locke is due to jump the ditch next week to play a string of shows with local duo Carb On Carb, which will be rounded out by an appearance at the inaugural Sad By Sad South Festival in Wellington. So we are delighted to see that ahead of her visit Locke has dropped new single 'Better/Bitter', a tune that takes real life issues and wraps them in witty lyricism and catchy pop melodies à la her compatriot Courtney Barnett.
The song is taken from Locke's upcoming sophomore album which is slated for release later this year via Pool House Records. Check out 'Better/Bitter' below along with its accompanying lo-fi video...
