Sal Valentine Announces 'Church' EP + Shares New Single 'Just Another Lover'
Auckland hotstepper Sal Valentine has revealed details of his forthcoming EP Church, and shared new single 'Just Another Lover'. Following on from lead single 'Elizabeth I've Been A Fool', the new tune was penned in 2013 after Valentine navigated "a string of disappointing romantic encounters" and reinforces his knack for pairing heart-on-the-sleeve lyricism with punchy, old school RnB-influenced musicianship.
The eight-song EP is slated for release on 26th May and will be followed by a handful of dates in Wellington and Auckland which will see Sal joined by his regular backing band The Babyshakes. Stream 'Just Another Lover' below and head over here to hit it up on Spotify...
