Friday 2nd June, 2017 10:15AM
Three years after releasing their standout album Lost In The Dream, Philadelphia-based crew The War On Drugs have now announced they've got a new LP on the way and are sharing driving lead single 'Holding On'. Spearheaded by frontman Adam Granduciel, upcoming record A Deeper Understanding was tracked across studios in New York and Los Angeles with engineer Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, Weezer), and calls on the talents of bassist Dave Hartley, keyboardist Robbie Bennett, drummer Charlie Hall and multi-instrumentalists Anthony LaMarca and Jon Natchez to flesh out an ornate and well-crafted offering. Hit cruise control and check out 'Holding On Below'...
A Deeper Understanding is out 25th August via Atlantic
