Gorillaz Let Loose New Song 'Sleeping Powder' + Video

After dropping double album Humanz in April, Gorillaz have shared an excellent tune titled 'Sleeping Powder', accompanied by an amusing tongue-in-cheek video. Initially being announced via the Gorillaz app, the track opens with a sample from the infamous eighties "This Is Your Brain On Drugs" advertisment accompanied by hyped-up disco vibes and Damon Albarn's distinct vocal delivery. Visually, the clip depicts virtual band member 2D hunched over a harpsichord which melts away to show the digital avatar dancing away, green screen styles, in front of a circus act, fireworks and several large scale synchronised dance routines.
