Auckland Four-Piece Balu Brigada Share Video For 'Could You Not'

Auckland indie-pop group Balu Brigada have unveiled a video for their latest single 'Could You Not'. The four-piece, which is comprised of brothers Henry, Pierre and Charles Beasley alongside good friend Guy Harrison, recruited the services of Garth Badger to direct the clip which follows the four-piece as they traverse the inner city, hang out at their flat and play some shows - all the while tying together the song's theme of a romantic tryst gone sour, as lead singer Henry explains in a statement:

“It was on the down-low for a few weeks and then it started to get a bit messy when she wasn’t totally honest with him. She ended up not-so-subtly telling me that she was more keen on seeing him as a friend, and he was in the room next door at the time, so I was very literally like: ‘Yo, Could You Not Speak So Loud’.”
