J Mascis' Sweet Apple Supergroup Share 'World I'm Gonna Leave You'

Sweet Apple, which brings together J. Mascis (Dinosaur Jr), Tim Parnin (Cobra Verde, Chuck Mosley), John Petkovic (Cobra Verde, Death of Samantha, Guided By Voices) and Dave Sweetapple (Witch), have bumped up their "supergroup' status a notch or two with the release of 'World I'm Gonna Leave You' which features guests appearances from Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees), Robert Pollard (Guided By Voices).

The stomping single comes accompanied by a clip shot on the infamous "Death Car", a locomotive car that was involved in a freak accident in 1943 that saw nearly 30 passengers killed by hot water and stream. Directed by John Turk, the clip reimagines the passengers' final moments before the gruesome accident (but don't worry, there's no gore involved).
