Glass Vaults Lift The Lid Off Self-Directed Video For 'Mindreader'
Glass Vaults have surfaced with a new video for 'Mindreader', a song plucked from their recently released sophomore album The New Happy. The band-directed clip stars George Fenn and Lana Phillips, who play two isolated people that push to come together but as the Vaults explain in a statement, things don't really work out as intended:
"Mindreader's one of the more immediate songs on The New Happy so it's kind of ironic how this video came out. We had the idea of setting up two lonely figures in two lonely locations and then helping them to try and reach out to other. It's all kind of a blur. After three shoots and then hours of trying different methods and scenarios to connect the two of them...it all resulted a bit of a beautiful and ugly mess really. There's nothing immediate about their efforts, and in many ways nothing immediate about the result."
