Auckland Trio Bespin Unveil Hypnotising New Single 'East Of Her'

Auckland shoegaze trio Bespin have surfaced with hypnotising new single 'East Of Her' as they prepare to head to Australia for a string of shows including an appearance at Bigsound Festival early next month. The sweeping tune follows in the wake of the band's powerful 2015 debut EP, Osiris, and word has it that the song the tip of the iceberg, with more new music from the band on the horizon. In a statement accompanying the song's release, frontman Jonathan Lee said:

"'East Of Her' is a dark seance to me. I found the guitar line one night, and the rest just fell around it almost immediately. I knew how I wanted it to sound — and how the song itself went — much faster than my norm. It's a special song to me, playing on those themes of distance and time and memory. It's exciting to finally release it into the wild."
