Charlotte Gainsbourg Shares 'Deadly Valentine' + Video Starring Dev Hynes

Charlotte Gainsbourg has shared the second single from her upcoming studio album Rest, along with a stirring video starring Blood Orange's Dev Hynes. Entitled 'Deadly Valentine', the slice of French disco was produced by SebastiAn, and while Hynes doesn't feature on the song, Gainsbourgh recruited him to play her partner in the gorgeously shot video that follows two people from childhood to old age. Speaking to the clip, she said:

“This song mixes wedding vows with an offbeat tone. I wanted to express the idea of a lifetime engagement; a couple running to church, from childhood to old age, a lifetime path. I asked my friend Dev Hynes if he would play my partner, and he very graciously agreed."

The album is out 17th November via Because Music/Atlantic Records, in the meantime soak this up...
