Rising Star D.R.A.M. Announces Debut New Zealand Show

American rapper D.R.A.M. (aka Shelley Marshaun Massenburg-Smith) will hitting our shores for the first time with his effervescent party jams this coming January! Famous for his huge booty shaking collab with Lil Yachty 'Brocolli', the 29 year old will be bringing the hits from his debut album Big Baby D.R.A.M. to Auckland for one show only. D.R.A.M. stands for Does Real Ass Music and the proof is in the pudding - he's a popular collaborator having worked with superstars including Chance The Rapper, A$AP RockyGorillaz and SZA.

Secret Sounds and Mai present D.R.A.M. With a name short for Does. Real. Ass. Music., 29-year old rapper, singer and producer D.R.A.M. will be making his New Zealand debut early next year at Auckland's Powerstation on January 10.

Coming in hot off the back of the release of his debut record Big Baby D.R.A.M. and his massive single 'Broccoli' (featuring fellow buzz king Lil Yachty), which has amassed over a whopping 396 million streams on Spotify, the world initially took notice with his breakout hit Cha Cha, including Queen B herself. Lending his trappy-go-lucky vocals on collaborations with Chance the Rapper, Gorillaz and SZA, the US rapper will be hitting the stage after an extensive US headline tour as well as performances at SXSW, Coachella and Austin City Limits.

Tickets on sale at 9:00am Thursday 28 September via aaaticketing.co.nz.
