Outspoken US singer-songwriter Father John Misty (Josh Tillman) has released a new country version of the title track to his latest album Pure Comedy. Titled 'Pure Country' the song finds Tillman wearing his heart on his sleeve while the artist's golden-toned voice drifts across a languid, clip-clopping groove provided by an expert backing band. Always a captivating performer, the ex-Fleet Foxes member will be bringing his outré style to Auckland at Laneway 2018 this coming January, have a listen to 'Pure Country' below...
