Listen To Feist's Gord Downie Tribute 'Stranger For Gord'

Canadian singer-songwiter Feist has released a cover of The Tragically Hip lead singer Gord Downie's 'The Stranger', to commemorate Downie's recent passing from cancer aged 53. The tribute is titled 'Stranger For Gord' and is a powerfully raw and moving rendition of the fellow Canadian's heartbreaking song. Feist shared her feelings about Downie with the New York Times, saying “My feelings are big for Gord, as they have been since I first met him 20 years ago. He’s always been a teacher to me for how to fight for the true view in a song and inhabit them with conviction.”
