Lupe Fiasco Announces Auckland Headline Show

US hip hop artist Lupe Fiasco has announced a headline performance at Auckland’s Powerstation in January, as part an Australasian tour supporting his new album Drogas Light. Famous for his smash hit singles ‘Superstar’ and ‘Daydreamin’ the artist last visited Aotearoa two years ago for a jam-packed show alongside Nelly and B.O.B. at the Logan Campbell Centre. Rapper, producer, songwriter and one of the most socially conscious superstars of the 21st century, LUPE FIASCO will be bring his subversive hip hop movement to Australian and New Zealand stages in January 2018!

Among one of the most reflective and enigmatic rappers of today, LUPE FIASCO reinvigorated hip hop with the release of his highly anticipated debut album, 2006’s ‘Food & Liquor’. The album peaked at No 1 on the Billboard Top 10 and received three nominations for the Grammy Awards including Best Rap Album.
