Dunedin electronic artist Embedded Figures (aka Amber Skye, from Strange Harvest and Rise Of The City Cat Cult) has shared her catchy and chilling new album Dark Artery. The record showcases Skye’s riveting blend of coldwave synths and angelic singing, tracks like opener ‘Teen Vamp’ sound like robotic vampires partying till dawn. Other songs recall the dystopian post-industrial sonics of late 70s synth pioneers The Normal and John Foxx.
