Flying Lotus Shares Mind-Bending Video 'Post Requisite'
Idiosyncratic producer Flying Lotus has dropped a bizarre video for his track ‘Post Requisite’. The tune first appeared as intro music to Kuso, FlyLo’s directorial debut, with the collage-based imagery drawn upon throughout the clip sharing stylistic similarities with the films cover art. The new clip is directed by Winston Hacking, with stop motion animations that seem more at home with the aesthetics of lofi punk rock bands such as Dystopia than the Brainfeeder label head’s jazz-influenced hip hop. Highlights of the visual chaos include the unfurling contents of multi-dimensional skulls and a trench warfare scene that includes a character with a teapot for a head smoking an oversized joint.
