US rising rap star J. Cole rocked Auckland’s Spark Arena on Friday evening, transforming the stage into an elaborate prison set while rocking an orange jumpsuit. The MC obviously made a lasting impression while opening for Eminem in Aotearoa in 2014, with his older tracks being sung along to in equal measure to newer tunes that appeared on 4 Your Eyez Only, Cole’s fourth studio album. We sent Michael Pharaoh of Knucklehead photography along to capture the mayhem. Check out his slick shots below…
