Watch Father John Misty's Epic Video 'Leaving LA'

Outspoken US artist Father John Misty has shared a video for 'Leaving LA' from his recent album Pure Comedy. The single is a thirteen minute epic of heartfelt and scathing lyricism, minimal guitar and stirring strings, with the artist pointing the finger at himself at one point singing “Another white guy in 2017, who takes himself so goddamn seriously.” The beautifully shot clip shows Misty performing in a recording studio accompanied by a full string section, and follows his recent reinterpretation of the album’s title track ‘Pure Country’.
