Lunavela Returns With Anthemic Self-Titled EP

Auckland songwriter Steve Mathieson is perhaps best known as the driving force behind popular dance-pop group Collapsing Cities. Mathieson’s long-awaited new five song solo collection revives his long running Lunavela moniker, deploying it in the service of catchy and anthemic electronic bangers. The EP follows a release rate of approximately one single per year, each track features the artist’s candid and heartfelt lyrics set against a synthetic pop backdrop, with songs ‘Chequered Past’ and ‘I Think You’re Great’ being songwriting collaborations with Timon Martin.
