Dunedin's The Futurians Share Sci-Fi Tune 'Psilicon March'
Dunedin sci-fi noise lovers The Futurians have shared a snappy instrumental tune 'Psilicon March' taken from their forthcoming album Distorted Living. The no-fi South Island supergroup has featured a rotating lineup of talented artists in their seventeen-year history including Ducklingmonster, Clayton Noone (CJA), ISO12, Mandroid, and Kraus. The latest record has been described by acclaimed music writer Byron Coley as "a flat-out hoseload of cosmic gas", while according to Ducklingmonster the newly released tune features some "sweet Mandroid drum action." They'll be celebrating the album's launch this Friday 12th January with a vinyl release party at Dunedin's YYY supported by Sewage and Richard Maybe's Passion for Nature, listen to 'Psilicon March' below...
