Bloody Hell Unleash Scathing Single 'My Boss Ross' + Video

Thursday 8th February, 2018 11:55AM

Recently-formed Melbourne noiseniks Bloody Hell have dropped an anthemic tune titled 'My Boss Ross', taken from a four track 7" EP of the same name that will be out this Friday. The iconoclastic group, featuring ex-pats Michael McClelland (Centre Negative) and Perry Mahoney (Civil Union, Guardian Singles), take to the streets in the accompanying clip, wearing matching red outfits while roaming about town and performing on rooftops. The song is a gripping account of power imbalances in the workplace, in the video singer McClelland makes an ambiguously powerful statement by getting the email address of his boss tattooed on his arm. We had to know more, McClelland generously shared this statement about the tune...

"This song's about a man called Ross, who is literally my boss. My hope is that he won't fire me."

Melbourne residents can catch Bloody Hell celebrating the release of their 'My Boss Ross' 7" EP this Friday 9th March at 'The Collingwood House Of Jazz', with Jazz, Latreenagers and Polish.
