Smash Mouth Cover 'Something Soon' By Car Seat Headrest

Beloved American rock band Smash Mouth have put their spin on ‘Something Soon’, a track from indie-rock artist Car Seat Headrest (aka Will Toledo). The genesis of the eyebrow-raising cover can be traced to Twitter, with Smash Mouth rating Toledo's ‘Drunk Drivers / Killer Whales’ as one of the best tunes of 2016.

In return, Car Seat Headrest are said to have covered Smash Mouth’s tune ‘Fallen Horses’ but no recording has hit the information superhighway as yet. Wrap your ears around ‘Something Soon’…

Car Seat Headrest's re-recording of their 2011 album 'Twin Fantasy' is out now via Matador Records. You can catch them live at Auckland City Limits on Saturday 3rd March.
