Super Narco Man Drop Hard-Hitting EP 'Dank Mammoth Deluxe'

Tauranga punks Super Narco Man have unveiled their latest collection of tunes Dank Mammoth Deluxe via hard-working ex-pat label MUZAI Records, following last week's performance at the final Woodcock Festival and a riotous recent video for 'Near Kill Experience'. The five song EP features refurbished versions of songs from their previous similarly titled mini-album Dank Mammoth, giving those lo-tech tracks a hi-fi spit-polish via studio recording wizardry provided by Tauranga's Studio 11B. We caught up with "freakish guitar noodler and off key vocaliser" Joel Burgin who revealed the origins of the collection...

"'Dank Mammoth Deluxe' has the same songs on it as the original 'Dank Mammoth', we just went into a proper studio to record it again to get a more legit sounding recording instead of just the old one mic in the middle of the living room into a tape player, which is what we used for the first 'Dank Mammoth'."
