Premiere: Delaney Davidson Shares Haunting Single 'Strange I Know' + Video
Lyttelton songwriter extraordinaire Delaney Davidson has shared the eerie lead single 'Strange I Know' from his upcoming album Shining Day which is out this April. The new tune is accompanied by a haunting video directed by Justin Heaney, in the clip Davidson assumes the guise of his theatrical character Pegleg, which was featured in his recent live version of the Black Rider musical, and wanders through various dramatically lit expressionistic environments. It's a spooky teaser for the consummate craftsman's ninth studio record, his first in two and a half years, which has been described by none other than fellow Lyttelton artist and frequent collaborator Marlon Williams as "Appetizing beyond belief," and will feature guest appearances from SJD and Neil Finn. Dive into the strange world of Delaney Davidson below...
'Shining Day' is out Friday 20th April via Glass Records Redux.
